Tuition and Cancellation Policy

Adult and Youth students:

​

All MSDC students must have a registered account in the Main Street Dance Center, Studio Pro Portal. https://app.gostudiopro.com/online/mainstreetdancecenter

ADULT STUDENTS: There are no refund options for purchased missed drop-in classes or unused, expired class cards, or prorated rates for late arrival or early departure. The purchased class is not transferable to another day. The class fee must be paid BEFORE the class. All class cards must be used before the expiration date. Extensions are not available for expired cards. It is highly suggested that adult students enroll in autopay. We can assist you if you have any questions.

Drop-In classes can be purchased through the MSDC Studio Pro Portal. https://app.gostudiopro.com/online/mainstreetdancecenter.
Or Drop In and pay cash, credit, debit, or Apple Pay. We ask you kindly to email us at info@mainstreetdancecenters.com if you plan to drop in.

5 and 10 open class cards can be purchased through Studio Pro. All details related to class cards are in the Studio Pro Portal. https://app.gostudiopro.com/online/mainstreetdancecenter

You can find open class cards by tapping "Shop" on desktop or "More" on the Mobile App. Download the app here. Once you have purchased a class card, you can register for the class the same way you would purchase a drop in. Choose the class and date you wish to join, Scroll down, press submit, and tap "bringing a class card".

ALL STUDENTS:

Payment for classes must be made before entering the dance class for every class at MSDC. There are no tuition refunds or prorated amounts for absences under any circumstances.

​

Tuition is due on the 1st of the month for program classes.

​

Payments made after the 10th of each month will incur a $20 late fee.  A credit card must be left on file in your Studio Pro account. Enrolling in Auto-Pay is required for Youth Dance Program and The Ballet School Students. It is highly suggested that adult students enroll in autopay.

There are 10x monthly tuition payments for the school season 2025-2026. 9/6, 10/1, 11/1, 12/1, 1/1, 2/1, 3/1, 4/1, 5/1, and 6/1 for Youth Dance Program and The Ballet School programs. If tuition payment is not made for a full month, the student will lose their place in the class, and it will be given to a waitlisted student.

There is a $25.00 fee for returned checks.

Monthly tuition is not discounted or reduced for holidays, school vacations, absences, injuries, or class cancellations due to inclement weather days.

MSDC reserves the right to cancel a class. If the class was purchased and is cancelled, a refund will be issued.

Cancellation of Youth Dance Program and The Ballet School program classes must be given in advance in writing or by email to: info@mainstreetdancecenters.com

Parents are responsible and required to notify Main Street Dance Center in writing before the first day of the following month if you wish to withdraw your child from the class. This must be communicated in writing to MSDC or you will be charged tuition the following month.

A youth student enrolled in a program may make up an absence in another class with permission from the Director, Alexis Panos. Please call (617) 862-6671 or email info@mainstreetdancecenters.com 

If we are not holding a Free Trial Series, a trial class may be purchased for $20-$30, depending on the length of the class. This applies to classes for children only. MSDC does not offer trial classes to adult students.

If Winter and Spring Showcases are scheduled, fees to participate will be sent to the parents and adult students. Dancing in these performance events are not mandatory.

*Make sure your email is in your MSDC STUDIO PRO account. Please provide a full address in your SP account in the box provided. It is also best to follow us on Facebook and Instagram so you do not miss any announcements, like cancelled classes due to inclement weather, new posted classes, and special events.

​

We may offer Special Rates on workshops, open classes, master classes, or pop up classes. The best way to view those offers is to follow MSDC on FACEBOOK and INSTAGRAM. 

 

At The Ballet School, tuition for Level 3 is shared with serious students who have completed a placement class and received an invitation to enroll in the program.

Students dancing more than four hours per week are welcome to contact MSDC for additional information.
