Nicole Abate
Teacher
Nicole was born in Providence, Rhode Island, and began dancing at the age of three. Her passion for the performing arts expanded in middle school when she discovered a love for theatre. Since then, she has remained actively involved in the arts, performing in plays and musicals throughout high school, college, and beyond.
Nicole earned her Bachelor's degree in Communications with a minor in Theatre from Regis College, followed by a Master's degree in Theatre Education from Emerson College. She began her teaching career in Brighton, MA, where she taught middle school drama for one year before joining the Westwood Public Schools in 2003. During her 11 years in Westwood, Nicole directed numerous middle school plays and musicals and served as the choreographer for the high school musicals.
In addition to her work in theatre education, Nicole was a certified Zumba instructor for over thirteen years, combining her love of dance with fitness. She currently teaches Performing Arts at Saint Bridget School in Framingham, where she continues to inspire and nurture young performers.
